You know that lovely shard of chocolate you sometimes get on a fancy dessert – the one that snaps with a satisfying crunch? We took that idea and covered an entire cake with it. Our Choco Flake Cake is a soft, moist chocolate sponge, layered with silky chocolate buttercream, then completely coated in a blanket of chocolate flakes – not dust, not sprinkles, but proper thin curls and shards of milk or dark chocolate. It's crunchy, it's flaky, and it's absolutely irresistible. Perfect for anyone who loves texture as much as taste.

What's inside?

The sponge is our fudgiest dark chocolate – moist, rich, with a hint of vanilla. We slice it into two or three layers and fill each one with a smooth chocolate buttercream and a thin smear of chocolate ganache. On the outside, we cover the cake in a thin layer of chocolate ganache or buttercream – just enough to make the flakes stick.

Then comes the fun part: we make our own chocolate flakes by shaving blocks of high‑quality milk or dark chocolate with a vegetable peeler (or use ready‑made flake curls). We press them generously onto the sides and top of the cake, so it looks like a snowdrift of chocolate. A final dusting of cocoa powder and a few extra flakes on top complete the look.

Because texture matters. A lot of chocolate cakes are soft all the way through – delicious, but one‑note. The flakes add a lovely snap and crunch that makes every bite more interesting. Plus, it looks stunning: rustic, elegant, and undeniably chocolatey.

Product Life After Purchase

Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.

When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.

If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.

For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.

On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.
